Counselling for Adults

Counselling for adults offers a supportive, confidential space where you can explore life’s challenges with a compassionate, trained professional. Whether you're facing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, counselling provides the opportunity to be truly heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

Every session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. Your counsellor will gently guide you through the process of self-reflection and growth, helping you to make sense of your experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, and build healthier ways of coping. It’s not about giving advice—it’s about working together to find clarity, confidence, and direction in your own time and at your own pace.

You can expect a calm, welcoming environment where your emotional safety and wellbeing are the highest priority. Counselling may involve talking, creative strategies, mindfulness, or practical tools—whatever best suits your comfort and personality.

Many clients find that through counselling they develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and improved relationships with themselves and others. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit—sometimes, simply having a space to pause, reflect, and grow can be the most powerful gift you give yourself.

Counselling for Adolescents (Ages 13–18)

Adolescence is a time of growth, change, and sometimes overwhelming emotions. Counselling for teens provides a safe, confidential space where young people can explore their feelings, challenges, and questions with a caring professional who understands the unique pressures of this stage of life.Whether your teen is dealing with anxiety, depression, identity issues, family conflicts, bullying, grief, or navigating friendships and relationships, counselling offers support tailored specifically to their needs. The focus is on building trust, respect, and open communication, so your teen feels comfortable sharing at their own pace without fear of judgment.

Counsellors use a variety of approaches, including talking therapies, creative expression, and practical coping strategies, all aimed at helping adolescents develop self-awareness, resilience, and confidence. Sessions empower teens to better understand themselves, manage stress, and make positive choices as they transition into adulthood.

Parents and carers are supported through guidance and resources, while respecting the adolescent’s need for privacy and autonomy within the counselling process.

Ultimately, counselling for adolescents is about nurturing emotional wellbeing, strengthening self-esteem, and providing tools that support healthy development—helping young people thrive both now and in the future.

Counselling for Children (Ages 4–12)

Counselling for children offers a gentle, supportive space where young minds can express themselves, explore emotions, and build resilience in ways that feel natural and safe. At this age, children may not yet have the words to explain how they feel, which is why we use approaches like play therapy—a child-friendly method that helps them process experiences through creative play, storytelling, drawing, and other expressive activities.

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, grief, behavioural changes, family transitions, school difficulties, or trauma, counselling provides them with a safe and nurturing environment to work through those big feelings at their own pace.

Sessions are tailored to your child’s developmental stage and emotional needs, allowing them to feel seen, heard, and supported. Our trained counsellors gently guide children in understanding their emotions, developing problem-solving skills, and building healthy ways to cope with challenges.

Parents and carers are included in the process through regular check-ins, updates, and guidance on how to support your child outside of the counselling room.

Most importantly, our focus is on creating a trusting relationship where your child feels safe, valued, and free to be themselves—laying the foundation for lifelong emotional wellbeing.
